Over the past year and a half, our HR Department has shrunk to almost half its original size.  In some cases, people have left and we haven't gotten the green light to replace them, in other cases we were eliminating positions due to downsizing.  Those of us who are left seem to have job security, but also twice the work load we used to have and no prospects for pay increases in the near future.  I think about looking for work elsewhere, but part of me wonders if the same thing is happening across the Delaware Valley due to the current economic situation.  Is everyone else feeling the pain?
